Portraits
Drawing and painting people from life is close to my heart. With each portrait, I attempt to capture the essence of the person who sits before me. My portraits are expressive, and at times confrontational. It is an intimate experience to focus on ones face, for both the artist and model. A friend once told me that being drawn evokes a similar feeling to being touched.
