
Still Life Artworks
It is only through direct observation and mark making that I learn to see rather than look. To draw means to pull, and I draw because I am pulling information from the world around me. The exercise of drawing daily feels like searching for the truth. Once I have studied an object, and recorded it visually, it alters my perception of that object forever.
